The Shiawassee Bar Association has been an organized group of judges, attorneys and prosecutors for over 100 years. It meets monthly to discuss how to improve the system of justice in the mid-Michigan area. Annually, on Law Day, it awards the Liberty Bell Award to a deserving recipient who has aided local justice.
