You are now required to notify Sandy Ostrander, in writing, if the attorney or any potential witness has a conflict with the date set for criminal trial. No adjournments will be granted if a witness schedules a vacation after the ten-day grace period.

Parties in criminal matters are required to attend a status conference with the Court's Research Attorney. A status conference is not the same as a pretrial. The status conference will address scheduling of remaining motions, for the court to get an update, and to hopefully eliminate last minute adjournments because of the unavailability of witnesses.

The Sherriff's Department will bring defendants to court if they are in the local County Jail and you request this 24 hours prior to the conference.

Contact Christina K Litchty for any questions.
